At Feisty, we’re celebrating the holidays with the release of our new gift box sets.
The gift packs are a mixed set of four 200mL bottles of some of our most popular whiskies packaged in a wood crate. The whiskeys available so far include our Blue Corn Bourbon, Better Days Bourbon, Red Corn Oat Bourbon, Rye Whiskey, Saigon Cinnamon infused Oat Whiskey, and Vanilla Orange infused Oat Whiskey.
These gift sets will be available in our tasting room as well as select liquor stores for $80 a set. Select from our pre-packaged mixes or stop in to the tasting room and ask about creating your own mix. Wine and cheese tastings are so last year. It’s time to mix things up with bourbon and balsamic!
On November 14th, we will be pairing up with Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Company for our Bourbon and Balsamic Craft Cocktail Night. Since we are already using RMOOC’s wide variety of flavored balsamic vinegars in our cocktails in our tasting room, we’ve decided to make a night of it.
The event will feature creatively crafted cocktails from Feisty and Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Company paired with hors d’oeuvres from Welsh Rabbit. Then, at 7:30 p.m., enjoy a cocktail showcase from local bartender Kyle of Jax Fish House.

Announcing our newest Feisty Nectar: Vanilla Orange flavored Oat Whiskey
Way back when, before we opened, we did taste tests of some ideas we had. One of which was a vanilla orange infused whiskey and it was voted as the favorite of the bunch.
It took us a bit to long to submit it to the Feds but now, after finally getting their approval, it’s here! Just in time for warming you up on these chilly fall and winter nights.
With a fruit infused (blackberry) and a spice infused (Saigon cinnamon) whiskey already in the Feisty Nectars arsenal, we decided to combine fruit and spice for everything nice.
Starting with a 100 percent oat whiskey, a soft and mellow grain, it has an easy drinking quality that lends itself well to the vanilla bean flavors and aromas. The orange is subtle with a zesty character that adds depth to the warmth of the vanilla. It finishes with a full oat whiskey body.
Try out this recipe for Vanilla Orange Egg Nog, perfect for sipping by the fireplace or for sharing during the holiday season:
Beat egg yolks in the bowl of a stand mixer then gradually add the 1/3 cup of sugar. Continue beating until dissolved. Stir in the milk, cream, Feisty Vanilla-Orange Oat Whiskey, and nutmeg.
Place the egg whites in a separate bowl and beat with a stand mixer until it becomes fluffy. Gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar while still beating the mixture.
Whisk the two mixtures together. Chill, serve, and enjoy! This recipe makes six or seven servings so there is plenty to share.

In ancient times Elemental Spirits were believed to be the spirit or animating force of things that exist in nature. They commonly included fire, water, wind, earth, tree and plant spirits.
Grain is the main ingredient of all great whiskey and many other alcoholic beverages. Just as Elemental Spirits were believed to contain the essence of various parts of nature, our goal with Feisty Spirits Elementals™ is to bring out and highlight the unique essence and flavors of each grain.
Each one is made from the simplest ingredients: water, organic grain, yeast, and enzymes.
The first three of the Elementals™ series are Kamut, Millet, & Triticale. They are available now with a suggested retail price of $19.99 in 375 ml bottles (45% ABV / 90 proof).

All three grains cover a broad range of refreshing notes, surprising the palate with diverse tones within a single spirit. Triticale has a subtle character of cinnamon rolls, with overtones of nuts and spiciness. Kamut has a buttery, nutty flavor with a subtle sweetness. Millet has a sweet, slightly nutty flavor with a floral finish. These elemental whiskeys provide a variety of well balanced flavors and they can be enjoyed neat or mixed in cocktails.
The Kamut won a gold medal at the 2013 Denver International Spirits Competition.
